Not an ideal pressing. That’s true. But I find some comments exaggerated. It’s Ok-ish, not utterly worthless.

A great and solid album. I have read some of the reviews concerning sound quality, and I am perplexed. My pressing, on gray vinyl is flawless. No pops crackles and excellent acoustic output. I Use Linn Magick turntable with Keff 109 speakers. Amplification is a Yackoff Arrinoff Tube amplifier with 6560's and 12AX7s.

Yeah it’s not the best sound quality but I cherish my signed copy from after the show at The National in Richmond. Little brother and I waited in the rain with no one else and they even invited to a party. It was a solid night.

I don’t understand they press more then 20 minutes per side. No wonder it sounds bad. It was maybe possible with older music due to the lack of low bass but for modern day music this cannot be the case. They should press 2 vinyls and even choose 2x45rpm.

Got a brand new copy (assume it's the 2007 pressing) and it sounds amazing - bass that rocks my speakers and not even the tiniest surface noise on the quieter tracks. Definitely in the top 5 albums of the 2010s.
-
This is probably the shittiest sounding record in my entire (1000+) vinyl collection. Distorted from beginning to end (quite badly) and terrible narrow image. Such a great album, but this is a travesty of a pressing.

I got the 2007 US pressing.
Bought a used one from Discogs and was looking forward to black vinyl.
But sadly The quality of the vinyl looks poor (Despite of the fact it's used) The edges of the vinyl are rough/edges...
Has anybody the same problem?
