Jon Hopkins – Immunity

Great pressing (dead quiet) of a great album. Cinematic at times and then gurgling and grinding at others. So painstakingly produced and mixed. Just a stunner.

The second disk came a little bit warped but not to the point where it would massively affect the sound. Also, there was some crackling here and there but not too much (Cleaning would completely solve it I think, I am just lazy). The sound is great really, so I would recommend it if you are the fan of this beautiful album

Mine is literally the worst pressing I've ever heard. Max trim to even hear a thing. Incredibly shallow grooves.

I've got A2/B2 matrix on the runout, but I bought it in april 2015, so the date indicate must be wrong.

As soon as I saw this was getting a new vinyl release, I didn't hesitate. Amazing album, and the vinyl sounds warm and delicate. Very happy with it.

Easily the best sounding record I own. Feels like a whole new album. Incredible sound — the bass is dynamic and really pops out of the speakers. Every time I turn this on, I just need to get up and dance. A little static in LP2 but otherwise this is fantastic. Mandatory listening if you are a fan of this album.

I've bought this pressing twice now from two different sellers, one of whom is in the US and one in the UK. Both had 3+ significant skips after a deep clean with a groovewasher. These skips occurred across both LPs in both cases. Annoyingly, it always skips backwards so I can't just ignore it during playback. It seems like the skips come out with great effort in cleaning, but it's still disappointing to see from a brand new record. I'll give it 2 instead of 1 stars for otherwise being a great pressing in of noise and dynamics.

Such a great pressing of a fantastic album. Deep, rich…almost immersive sound.
