Jon Hopkins has went against the pattern of his previously released melodic idm albums and which will surely astonish his listeners with the release of Immunity album.

The album contains tight and swift basslines which encomes almost 95 percent of album. The tunes are clinged to these fantastic basslines. The beats are like a build up.

Two videos are also released which are progressive in nature. Video of Open Eye Signal is about a boy trying to escape domestic violence from his house, while skating along the streets, reminding him all the things which happened to him and it reflects in how he sees the world, objects, people around him.

The last track Immunity is isolated from bassline dominated tracks, it is a soulful track with ardor vocals.

The vinyl edition is a beautiful crafted gatefold sleeve. The artwork is beautiful and the wax is very high 180 gram quality.

Absolutely stunning release. One of my favorite albums ever

I was seduced by Collider straight from the first listen. rough yet genuinly precise production blended with repeating vocal snippet result in pure 9 minute technoish power which many miss nowadays.. a power that is relentless. you should allow your mind absorb it to feel the cycling beauty though. last summer when I was working with grass-cutter for hours, I used to use it as a natural sound energizer, listening to it with earplug headphones. for me it's definitely a standout here and I think it's worth the price of the album alongside with Abandon Window which is a beautiful ambient piano piece reminiscent of previous album, and of course the stunning album opener.
