Gorillaz – D-Sides

This was one of the last records I needed for my Gorillaz collection, and it’s honestly a really good record, probably one of the best quality Gorillaz records I have. My only complaint is that the jacket is really beat up but that’s really on me, the seller I got it from was just not very good.

I fully agree with those who claimed absolutely awesome record! Superb at any measure. My copy,s dead silent and sounds amazingly!!!

Found this on Ebay years ago before I started using Discogs, and when it arrived, I turned to the Gorillaz community to try and determine if it was fake or bootleg. The sticker on the cover and the sticker over the CD certainly give that impression! Of course, this wasn't meant for public use or sale so it doesn't need to look pretty. Very unique part of my D-Sides collection, and it seems very limited, considering the total of 6 people that own it (on Discogs).

Very glad there's at least ONE release of this album on cassette! It's a great piece in my D-Sides collection. I'm very curious as to how they sound, but mine are sealed and I'd like to preserve them as much as I can. Super cool.

Very interesting version of the album, and as someone who collects versions of D-Sides, it's a great addition to the collection due to its tall case that's similar to a DVD case. Looks great with the others! Interesting to see the censorship on this release. 5 total tracks are excluded from it.

I collect D-Sides releases, and this is one of my favorites! This release including two bonus tracks is awesome, especially since this is the only physical version of Samba at 13 out there. I love when regional releases include bonus content! My copy sadly was used and did not come with the stickers/lyric sheet/OBI, but I'm tempted to purchase a new copy just to have those as well. Very cool release and one of my favorite D-Sides versions out there!

Is it known how many of these exist? I see release page's image is #0065, My copy being #0005. Anyone have any higher numbers? Super cool collection piece to have!

How’s the sound quality on these? I can see Indonesia cassettes from late 05-08 by EMI sound decent so I wonder if this one sounds decent aswell

Finally I have this one on vinyl, my copy sounds very nice and with no pops, clics or skips. The only complaint I have are the inner sleeves made of paper that kills the essence of this pressing.

I love this compilation since 2007 but I hate the packaging for this edition, looks badly designed with the first logo and no Demon Days font (Century Gothic).
