This 2018 pressing is a stunning reissue. Heavyweight vinyl. Pressed flat. No warps. Pressed on center. Plays dead quiet. Sounds exquisite. Highly recommended. Even more beautiful and complex that Mulatu's debut LP. A spiritual jazz fusion masterpiece.

Pretty solid sound and dead silent vinyl.

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of this release compared to the 2015 reissue?

According to the OBI, the original tapes doesnt exist and the sound was sourced from an original LP. Considering that, the sound is pretty decent, not audiophile but a very good listening experience, even considering that my copy have some background noise. I never heard any other pressings so I cannot compare.

The cover is made of super thin cardboard (like cheap 80s records) but the reproduction of the artwork is gorgeous, although the background color of the front cover is not purple like the photo you see here on discogs, but brown.

I dont know if the choice of the type of cardboard used was made to replicate the original greek pressing, but I wish they have used somenthing more robust.

Run-out info and label are different from the Heavenly Sweetness edition, so this is not the same pressing just with an extra OBI like some japanese modern labels do.
