Notes
This album is a collection of ideas and songs originally intended as a soundtrack for the movie "Storytelling" directed by Todd Solondz. Only about 6 minutes of it ended up in the movie and the band decided to further work on the music and release this album.
Released in a gatefold cover.

If I’m ing correctly, Isobel Campbell’s departure from the band was announced on the same day that this album was released.

Did Jeepster also reissue all of the vinyl including this record in 2014 when Matador did? I purchased a copy of this record on vinyl from someone here and they sent me a repress with that obi looking strip that all of the Matador reissues got. This strip also includes a pic of Storytelling. I'm very pleased since it matches the rest of my pressings, but never knew a 2014 repressing of Storytelling on Jeepster was an option.

This is supposed to be the original UK press, right?
The lone listing for a UK reissue (https://discogs.pelisguay.com/Belle-Sebastian-Storytelling/release/5869722) indicates differentiation from original by "different distribution credit on the back cover". But that's too vague; there are no photos other than the stock cover image for that reissue; and the photo of the back cover on this listing for what should be the original pressing is not clear enough.
Since barcode and runout details are identical for both, we need better evidence of what seems to be the only way to differentiate original from reissue for UK pressings.
As these things tend to go, I would guess that many of the sale items linked to this listing are actually reissues.
