I've read comments about sound quality. Although its not superb audiophile level of a pressing its a great variant.
The packaging is pretty sweet! The split layout of the jacket is rad, and the stencil and sticker goodies on the inside are a pretty cool add on for fans.
Honestly the sound quality works for me on my system. Personally its not a deal breaker. I do fudge a lil with the eq's but its a beautifully chaotic album and the experience of having this in my collection leaves me with no "ragrets" -

Just picked up an unplayed copy of this pressing with all of the inserts and while I'm super glad to add it to my collection for sentimental reasons, it really does not sound good. I'm doing a straight A/B comparison with my copy of the Urban Outfitters oxblood red pressing from 2020, and that pressing sounds clean and unmuffled compared to the weird gritty haze that's pervasive on the original pressing. Bass is far cleaner and more present as well.

Sounds pretty identical to the newer reissues (bad, compressed), but you can’t beat that packaging tbh

This is one of the first records I bought and it did not sound great back then. Granted I was using Crosley. But on my current set up (AT-120 and Audioengine A5+), the quality is much better. It’s still compressed. Honestly compared to the reissues, this isn’t bad. The reissues sound slightly less compressed, but this is definitely not the worst record I own. Good stereo balancing, clean vocals. I have way worse in my collection.

So i just sold my copy on ebay for £175 with bids. Do you think this is a reasonable price for it to be sold at?
-
please do not pay more than $200 for this. i get it’s a collectors piece but it’s not worth more than that. the reason the price has gone up is because someone paid $410 for it. for one the audio quality is terrible, i don’t even know how it got that bad, and two there are 2000 copies so i’m sure you’ll be able to get one for much cheaper.
