Reviews

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but should the listed Country for this release be the country it was manufactured, or should it be changed to Worldwide since it was released as such?
-
Obviously, an important portion of the reviews of the album focuses on personal questions about RW’s ideology and political-social comments. Goes way beyond Lennon vs McCartney kind of comments ("removes the electric guitar parts and powers the bass parts" and so. Of course, couldn't be otherwise!!). This is not good for anyone, it's a pity, but there's not much to do about it at this point, we live in the world we live.
So, the album:
Delivers what it promises, is a redux of an octogenarian man about his youth work, and has, therefore a sound where the psychedelic has faded completely, the lyrics are updated to a world that has aged 50 years and the rhythm is more leisurely and subtle.
Is it a masterpiece like the original? No, nor does it need to be. It is an elegant review that will form part from now on of the own universe of one of the highest works of western music; a more than worthy satellite, like the live at Wembley that came out this same year.
I wish we could have also the redux of Dave, Rick and Nick and make this little universe even richer instead of dwarfing it.
By the way, the 'Eclipse' track... my hair stands up like hooks!
