No audiophile recording for certain, the sound is a slightly muffled and sounds like a recording of a live jam (because it is). On the other hand it doesn’t sound digital or harsh in any way. Very enjoyable to listen to.

I've been on a Don Cherry kick as of late and was bummed out to see that originals of this record are expensive and damn near impossible to find. Since this is the only available pressing, I took a chance on it and I'm absolutely head over heels for it! All the instruments sound great here and the vinyl format really gives everything captured in the recording some room to breathe. The gatefold jacket is beautiful and I really enjoyed the insert included with this. Beautiful press with no surface noise as well! If you're thinking of seeking out this album, do not hesitate to pick up this pressing!
