Picked one of these up years ago for substantially less than the prices its fetching now. If anything, the main thing with this pressing is how quiet it is. Cranking up my system, it sounds fine. A masterpiece album that deserves top shelf in any collection.

Edited one year agoDid this definitely come with a poster? I am missing one.
Sounds pretty awful otherwise, HUM is self-releasing these again at some point in the future (thankfully).
Edit: 04/28/2022
I have wet vacuumed cleaned this record since my last comment and it definitely sounds a lot better but I still prefer the CD over this release, this is at least enjoyable now. -
This doesn't sound as bad as people say... sure it sucks it was not made with the band's approval but its not a bad copy.
HUM is supposedly re-releasing this in 2021, good luck space cowboys -
I have the SRC employee press. They only made 8 of them on smoky grey vinyl. Can anyone list this? It’s more of a cream color with grey swirls all in it. It was a replacement for a screw up order. I still have the emails.

This should be added to the original You'd Prefer.... entry with the other (black, green) re-released albums.
