It can be debated whether "See You" is the best track ever released on Eye Q (it's undoubtedly in the top-10 and even that is a statement!) but it's probably the one that has aged best. Even 30 years later the lush, precise beats sound incredibly modern and play well with contemporary tracks. So if I have to choose one Eye Q release to warm up a techno set and show today's audiences what the magic was all about, it would always be this one. This is the music the phase "timeless" was invented for!

Maybe there's something wrong with my ears, but I don't see what's so special about this release - i'm glad that others do, though! To me, the melodies feel a little obvious; like there's some sort of spark missing from them. Tracks like Icon - Desire and The Volunteers - Sun Down seem like better choices for "best tracks in the Eye Q catalog" to me.

This isn't bad by any means, though, it just doesn't particularly stand out to me.

Agree, but i won't forget the track wich gives the name of that famous ep!

the discovered theme! what a dreamy hardtrance track! a track wich could have a soul, we won't find it boring hearing to this joyous melody, again and again!
i mean the track in its construction and sounds doesn't sound like any other, as it's the case in nowadays trance...

for an eye-Q fan, it ins't difficult to find out that it's an eye-Q for it has the sound!

I can only regret that all those beautiful sounds and feelings are now gone :-(

"See You" is in my opinion the best track in the entire Eye Q catalog. I know that is a bold statement, but I stand by it, now 14 years after its original release. There was something so timeless about Gerald's melodies and production style. There is no dating of music like this. It simply exists in time and is there for anyone to discover and appreciate. While it's sad Gerald left the scene after the Eye Q days, tracks like these are reaffirmations of everything good about electronic music. This is simply a must, must have.
