My side D is as good as if not better than the other 3 sides. Great pressing overall would highly recommend spending more for the 1st press.
-
Did the vinyl always sound lousy? I'm playing this for the first time in a long time and it sounds terrible. I the CD sounding much better and I hate CDs.
-
How do you tell the difference between the original press and the FatCats repress? I found a used copy and can't tell.

Hands down their best album in my opinion. Talk about taking a trip through emotions.
I'll it I could be biased. It's one of those albums that teleports me right back in time in the best way.
Bias or not, no other Animal Collective album hits me like this one. -
Can anyone confirm or deny if this version has "FAT-9011-A/B/C/D" in the runout on each side like the 2011 reissue does? And if this one comes with a code for a digital version? Thanks
-
Is this version a gatefold? My vinyl has the ‘PGold’ in deadwax but is gatefold. The only gatefold listed on Discogs doesn’t have ‘PGold’ in info unless that’s a mistake?
-
Can anyone tell me what is special about this pressing as opposed to the repressing? Is it just a case of first pressing bias, or does it actually sound better? Genuinely curious. Thanks!
-
In my opinion Animal Collective's best album. Shifts between quiet beauty and frantic screaming. Pressing sounds great, and vinyl is heavyweight.
-
Not sure if anyone else has this problem but one side is full of noise, it completely drowns out the tracks across the whole of one side.
