Mine has two pops on Peace Piece, after a deep clean with a spin clean, which is why I gave it 4/5. I am not going to spend money on another copy hoping those two pops and clicks aren't there. I won't find an original mono in as good of shape, so I'm gonna go with the old John Peel saying.. "Life has surface noise"

A perfect pressing, amazing sound quality. Great in mono. Bill sounds like he's sitting at his piano in my living room.

Top notch pressing and top notch content. A MUST HAVE for those who dig Bill Evans. Quality all the way around.

Edited one year agoThis is an amazing pressing. I didn't hear any distortion but I wasn't trying to find it. This is the best pressing of this album I've heard so far. I could hear Bill Evans not thinking but just allowing the music to flow out of his soul. That's good enough for me. You can *feel* the love that has gone into the production of this pressing. I'm glad I bought it. Craft Recordings made a difference by releasing this. That's often not the case. No EQ fiddling required. No nothing. Just enjoying.
