The band is selling signed copies of this pressing while on the road for the anniversary tour. I picked one up and am very impressed with the sound! -
I have this color variant and had same exact hype sticker as listing photo but my run out is different. Does not have ‘CB’ or ‘ATO’. Looks like my runout matches the urban outfitter exclusive one but it’s totally different color. Kinda bummed because I really like Chris Bellman cuts. That being said, I think it sounds great. Prefer it over my original pressing. Anyone else have this runout with color or know any info about this? -
Did Chris Bellman cut his lacquer from a dsd or other digital copy of the master tape? Or was the master tape digital? It’s not because mr Bellman cut it that it sounds analog. -

Edited 3 years agoAm I the only one somewhat unhappy with this? After a few listens the sound quality seems to be there, but it's not loud with a thick sound to me overall. I think my main complaint here is that I can't stand how hollow clear vinyl sounds, and NO where (even here on Discogs) does this mention being clear vinyl regardless of the color.
That said, if I was to splurge on a different copy for a louder thicker sound, would anyone have a recommendation? -
A Chris Bellman cut is usually sign of quality for me, and this does not disappoint. Flat, centred and little to no surface noise. Dynamic sounding instrumentation, and Jim James's voice coming through loud and clear. The vinyl is more "bear brown" than golden, but matches the cover artwork nicely. Excellent edition for a bargain price.

Was there suppose to be a lyrics sheet included with this album like the color repress of Evil Urges? -
As someone who loves this album dearly, this is nothing special. Tried two copies, all four discs dish warped. Baffles me every time someone says they have a "flat" copy of anything pressed by GZ, because 9/10 times I get warped records by them. Plenty of ticks and pops on sides A and B before I just gave up (this is after a cleaning). Guess I will stick with the 4LP version from a few years ago. -
Fantastic. Though my gripe is that the golden smoke on mine looks more s**t brown than gold. -
This edition sounds twice as good as the original ATO edition I have. Buy this edition! Sound is 4+ out of 5. You will love this.
