My morning jacket live on stage ,what else you need. Great production, sounds Big, only missing great song 'Waterfall'.

Very nice and flat 180g pressing! After a thorough vacuum cleaning, my copy is dead silent with terrific dynamics and a great bottom end! Highly recommended, get it while you can.

Is there any difference between this release and the one listed as ATO0568?? (link below). My vinyl cover shows the 0568 number but the two entries look identical.

Edited 3 years agoGlad everyone is so stoked about this pressing. Mine's a little noisy throughout. Nothing egregious as far as repeating ticks or pops, just a generally dirty noise floor. Similar to most MMJ vinyl releases, in my experience. Performances are clearly great, that's never going to be a question w/this band. But this ain't an audiophile release. I'm playing a Music Hall MMF-7.3 w/an Ortofon Bronze stylus & the discs have been run through the Degritter. The next step is to scrub them w/a MoFi brush & vacuum them w/the Nitty Gritty, but I'm not holding out a ton of hope. This isn't a horrendous pressing, it's just pedestrian. I'm guessing it was pressed at GZ's Canadian facility. Nothing special, in my opinion. Happy to have it in my collection, but I'm still waiting on a legitimately high-quality MMJ vinyl release. Maybe one of the heavy hitters like Analogue Productions will pick up a couple of their titles one of these good ol' days. Here's to hoping...

I have been attending concerts since 1973. I have my list of the greatest concerts I have attended and MMJ in 2015 is on that list. I was thrilled to get this release. The sound quality is ok (compared to other great live recordings) but definitely good enough to drop me back in my seats at the show I saw. Something tells me I am going to be chasing down this entire MMJ Live series. And ditto on the desire to know which shows are represented on this album.

This is a superb release. The vinyl sounds rich and dynamic. All three records were flat and silent. The set list is awesome, with a very good selection of career spanning songs. I’ve noticed that the Waterfall tracks have more “muscle” live. Tropics in particular. A side long treatment of Dondante is a nice cherry on top. Yet another piece of evidence that MMJ is an incredible live band. I am really looking forward to future releases as part of this live series.

the quality of live Jacket is never in question, but unfortunately I've found that's often not the case with whoever is in charge of their vinyl—which makes Live 2015 such a nice surprise! like others, wish there was more to the liner notes, but it sounds fantastic. hoping for "Spring" and the reworked "Phone" for the next go-round, but this is a worthy follow-up to Okonokos.

Sure have missed MMJ out on the road these last few years. This album completely captures their power as a sterling live band. 👍🏻
